Cramming more passengers into a plane means less waiting time for other flights as well. It works out well and will only improve the British Airways experience for all flyers.

Obviously only the oldest 747-400s are being replaced now with not enough to replace the whole fleet, but down the road, it seems more than likely those 747-400s will be either migrated to A380, 747-8i or perhaps 777 or other types of jets depending on capacity needed.

So its really an improvement being phased in. Has nothing to do with scheduling changes.

Its just about time BA got 747-400 replacements in like the others who have replaced them which will happen in the coming years.

I just wasn't sure if they would do the A380 at JFK or other 747-400 routes since they can't do all of them plane for plane with the orders on hand but considering the JFK to LHR is one of the busiest routes at JFK, it seems like the A380 will be here.
Would love to see a 747-8i flying for BA so much better looking than the A380 and less people in the immigration line at BOS too. So many flights can land (thanks to delays) around the arrival time of 212 into BOS that less people is a real bonus.
