There were F/C, B/C Saver awards but only for this itinerary. We're going on a safari and these tickets are for April 27, 2013. I like your itinerary but like the award even more.
I was just concerned about the connection because O'Hare is such a big airport and I'm not really a FF so I don't know it very well. Are the gates usually close to each other?
Any part of the process can get messed up these days. No reason not to get seat assignments.
With no status (update your profile), probably not worth keeping watch to make adjustments as/if alternate routes open up. Do watch your itin every once and a while for IT shenanigans.
As for Chicago, C concourse is not close to the B concourse, and requires a fun (and short) subterranean journey. Walking from either end within each concourse requires a few extra minutes, as they are long.
