Hi guys, newbie here.

Why exactly do people want to have half a dozen segments flying from A to B and back? I'm a bit confused--did you manage to squeeze in long layovers so you could spend time in those middle cities, or do you just want to fly as much as possible? If I were to go to vacation somewhere, I'd just want to get there as quickly as possible, and certainly not spend perhaps 30 hours on the plane each way.
