Remember the A380 has special conditions imposed upon it and as of today only 2 terminals allow the A380, T1 and T4. It is unclear if other terminals will allow for the A380 but it seems likely that at least some will in the future.

Also the future of terminal T2 is unknown. Some pics showed a huge builtout of T4 replacing T2 and that would mean T2 + T7 could be allocated to new carriers in the future.
This is all fine, but you said that BA are likely to operate A380s from T1 or T4 whilst the rest of the operation is in T7. I'm telling you why that's not going to happen.

IF BA end up moving into an expanded T8 along with AA, which is the most likely scenario, they may build some A380 compatible gates and eventually operate there, but at the moment it doesn't fit with the business model. Perhaps you are unaware that the AA/BA joint business now offers an hourly shuttle service LHR-JFK from 9am to 8pm throughout each weekday. This is what the market demands and therefore the operation is tailored to deliver to it. All the other airlines you mention using A380s only have a few freqencies per day so can justify a larger aircraft. It's only in the world of kiddies-talking-about-planes.net that airlines operate routes for "prestige" or operate a particular aircraft "just because the other airlines do."
