Yesterday my husband and I flew on UA FLT# 925, LHR-IAD; he (1K) upgraded his seat to business class and gave it to me. When we booked, the plane scheduled was a new config 777 which ended up being swapped out to an old config 777. When we got home, there was an email from UA apologizing for the swap and UA credited his account with 10,000 FF miles.
