I think the PRG card is brilliant. One caveat I'd like to make others aware of, though, is that there are often transactions I make that don't automatically get the double or triple MR points added; I always check the transactions and I have had to email Amex about 5 times to ask them to do a manual credit

So watch out, the you won't always get all the points you think automatically!
