I had an interesting experience on the TK1785 IST-CPH yesterday. Me and another passenger turned out to have the same seat number (26A) on our boarding passes. Being a relatively frequent flyer and never having experienced this before I am curious how this could happen. Any ideas? Is this something that happens frequently on TK flights?
It was a slightly unpleasant experience, especially since the flight was almost full so the situation couldn't be solved easily by any of us just sitting down in a random free seat. In the end, I couldn't complain, though, since I was upgraded to seat 2F (probably thanks to my *G status) and could enjoy the pleasures of business class throughout the rest of the flight.
