Yeah, that's what I was basing my claim that the maximizer rate was better than this rate (long-haul int'l)--I was offered ~2.3cpm recently. I didn't realize the offers differed depending on distance, which of course doesn't matter terribly if you're buying and refunding after getting the miles, unless all you need is a small amount.
