How to report rude phone customer rep and problems changing tickets
Last night I had a very upsetting experience with the BA customer service.
First of all it's extremely complicated to change ticket if you haven't booked on the BA website. Unfortunately I booked through Orbitz and this is what I get for it. In order to change a ticket I have to call, state which day I want to change it to, then wait at least 24 hours if not more, and then call back again and see how much it costs. If I'm not happy with it I have to request another quote, and they would only do one quote at a time. This is just driving me crazy.
So last night I called to get the results of the second quote I requested and I was told it was $2000 as opposed to the first quote which was $225 (there is only one class difference between the two). So I said this doesn't not make sense and the rep said it might have been because I had two quotes in the system. So I asked what we could do about it, and she replied that "you should make up your mind" and "just decide on which date you want to leave". At this point I said it was not really fair that I had to make a decision without knowing how much it would cost, I was very polite and all even though I was firm. So she was not responding and just staying silent, I think I waited like 30 seconds then I asked her if she was on the line then she said yes. Then when I asked her what she suggested we should do, she hung up on me. I tried to call back but it was just a few minutes before closing time so I never got a chance to call back.
I'm just wondering if anybody has any experience with this and suggestions on how to report this person.
Is there any way to complain about such complicated process for changing a ticket and this rude person?
