As has been mentioned before, you will need to check in first on the mobile application in order to get the EBP within the application. We are looking at resolving this issue.

If you have multiple people in the same PNR, yet you check them in one at a time on the mobile applications you will get a mobile boarding pass for each passenger on that device. But as was mentioned by dcline, it may be a little difficult when you go through security. For me, I check in on my device and my wife checks in on her device. We both get our EBPs and security and boarding is much easier for us both.
