According to Clear, they are now open at SFO--in all terminals. However, when you look at where they say they are open in Terminal 1, it says at Sections B & C. I'm aware of gate groupings at SFO, but have never seen them referred to as A, B, C, etc. However, if there is a B and a C, then that would lead to the likely assumption that there is also a Section A (not showing on Clear's website). Since DL's gates at SFO (40-47) are the very far ones to the left (first in line, so to speak), are they considered A?
While not commonly referred by the boarding areas in the airport (as far as I know as a passenger), SFO has have a listing of the boarding areas on the airport maps on the website. You do not see boarding area A in Terminal 1, it's because boarding area A is the International Terminal A. Same for boarding area G, which is International Terminal G.
