Excellent question. "ATL to/from HNL" is not "Flights within North America" as the heading states (so the exception they make is nonsensical on that page), which is why I called them in the first place. Delta programmers need a geography lesson!
I called back (just now), and they reassured me that HNL to SLC indeed does have more recline in EC. I pointed out the problem with the web page... the rep said that she "can't think of any other ways to reassure me that EC does have extra recline on this flight" (maybe I said "are you sure" one too many times).
So, the question is still outstanding. On this 767, is the bulkhead row 10 A/B in front of a wall (which I don't like), or the open area?
I was on a 763 (domestic) without EC this past Sunday and there was a hard wall in front of 10G.
