Further, 747 / 77LR flights are not as easily replaced as basic 767/330 TATL flights as in the case of AC here
CX has almost 50 747 and 77W out of 1 hub, plus CX flies them on short haul flights such as TPE, PVG, BKK, KUL so it has more flexibility than AC, who has 4 hubs, with long haul planes operating primarily on long haul routes.
