Last week I was complaining about painfully slow hotel remotes and the lack of a channel guide. Some guy pointed me to the LodgeNet iPhone app.

Bottom line is this thing is awesome. I can see all the stations on my iPhone ans change channels and adjust volume as I please. Though I don't rent movies or watch on demand, you can control it thru there.

The app is good and worth a try. All you need to do is download the app. When you get to the hotel, you hit MENU on your tv, go to Go Wireless and a code pope up that you enter into your iPhone. Takes 30 seconds and save a slew of time finding the History Channel.
