I first booked the corner suite, but upon thinking into it further I decided to opt for the bi-level suite due to the privacy that the upper floor bedroom will afford to my husband and I.
Is it worth the superior view of the falls from the Canadian corner suite and forgo the privacy of the separate bedroom or should I keep the penthouse suite? I can always change the reservation back as long as there is availability.
Regarding the view:
Look at this straight overhead photo map:

and this interactive photo map from an overhead angle (from the Canadian side):

Contrary to my first thoughts, I've come to the impression that the view from Sheraton on the Falls is too distant (with better views available closer either at other hotels or outside any hotels) to be worth spending lots of points or money on.
It's across a couple roads and a park and the whole river from the falls you're looking at. So you're getting an overview of the whole specturm of falls, but not that close to any of them.
If it's closer views of falls that you want, you might want to consider the Embassy Suites (Hilton program), which seems to have a much better view of the Canadian Falls (which looks more dramatic anyway) than the Sheraton has of the American falls.
(As you can see, no hotel can be as close to the American falls as the Embassy and a few others -- including even Four Points -- are to the Canadian falls, because at that distance from the Canadian falls is a park. All hotels have to be beyond the park, and that's the widest point of the park!)
However, the Sheraton is a better location for getting around to all the sights, since it's more centrally located (if you're going to be crossing the bridge and including sights right across on the US side during your stay on the Canadian side).
Anyway, for the Sheraton and your question about room types:
Are there photos of the falls view from the different kinds of rooms at the Sheraton on the Falls anywhere? This would seem a case of worth a thousands words...
