I don't know. There is a carve-out that in exceptional circumstances they say they will pay for things not charged to the card, as I know some places just don't do Amex. You can always try.
Also, if you want a decent meal before the flight, go fill your boots someplace near the airport that does take AMEX.
The limit is £200 total, not per person, and this is only on the Prem Plus card (black one) not the basic blue one.
