Great front desk. Maybe the only club staff I've met that can compete with Kauai. Still a great short getaway, but unless you play golf I'd say two nights is max.
Limited dining sample and Corn Maiden was closed, but I thought the food had slipped. The one night I ate in the club they were serving Cheese Raviloli with Barbeque Sauce and Dollop of Creamed Corn. The poor woman working that night was doing her best to declare how "creative", "different" and "interesting" it sounded. The "different" part was correct but it was pretty bad. (My theory was they were out of marinara and it was too late to go to town, but I guess we'll never know). Dessert was so good it almost made up for it.
If I have a real complaint its that dogs seemed to be checked in above the ground floor, meaning the second floor two rooms away. I'm mildly allergic, and thought dogs were assigned to pet rooms, but they seemed to be run of the hotel. No rash or bug bites but I swear I killed a flea on the mirror. I really will try and cover if there is a non-dog floor next time.
