Of course, as expected, DL staff doesn't know about this until after we all do. You'd think that they might send a note to staff or something in the morning when they make changes.

I needed to call to change seats for some rez where me and my son ended up on different PNRs, and the agent didn't know that this had happened, or that EC was official as of June 7th. Got it done for me, though, even though she needed to get a supervisor to help.
