According to Clear, they are now open at SFO--in all terminals. However, when you look at where they say they are open in Terminal 1, it says at Sections B & C. I'm aware of gate groupings at SFO, but have never seen them referred to as A, B, C, etc. However, if there is a B and a C, then that would lead to the likely assumption that there is also a Section A (not showing on Clear's website). Since DL's gates at SFO (40-47) are the very far ones to the left (first in line, so to speak), are they considered A?

And, of course, the real question is has anyone noticed if Clear is operating as of today at the Delta security checkpoint at SFO?

On a separate point, not sure how much of an advantage Clear will be. My understanding is you will still have to take off your shoes, take your laptops, etc out of your bag--unlike Pre Check. I know Pre Check isn't yet available at SFO, but we fly out of SFO regularly on the 06:00+ flight, and never have much of a wait (if any) to get processed through the elite line and into the actual screening process. Can't see how Clear will make that any better. On the other hand, we have an "on hold" membership with them from the previous Clear operation, so at some point we may as well use it.
