I am in the same boat for several flights in June. I am FO and was already assigned seats that have become EC seats. However, I assume that since domestic EC seats are free for FO at check-in, then I am just holding a seat until I can check-in, at which time they will be free for me.
If any FO has an experience to the contrary, in early June, then I would appreciate the report.
