Not entirely sure. My family has split reservations going to Hawaii and we originally all got in premium seats before they changed over to EC. No one has gotten their seat changed although if you try to move them around, then they want the money. On the one to Honolulu, its $79. That seems quite high but I guess it is a better benefit for Medallions then.
