It all depends how many they actually need. Delta hasn't acquired anymore MD90's lately either for that matter so maybe not.
Even Delta has stored planes they aren't using at the moment.
RJ means regional jet. Anyways looks like regional jet changes with more larger planes.
So by the time JFK terminal is ready for instance the RJ gates will be demolished at T2 and they will be using it for larger regional flights.
