Told at check-in at SFO for my Frankfurt flight that yes, miles + $ does have a higher priority over instruments. In addition, miles + $ are the only upgraders that move to the Intl upgrade standby list at T-24.
There are several posts on FT from others that have been told the same and had the same experience.
If it is NOT supposed to be this way, then someone needs to get SFO straightened out.
But UA won't bother.
Anyone know the relative priority of high fare / low miles and $ vs low fare / higher miles and $ vs kettle on low fare with tod vs gpu?
