My consideration as well. I have a family of 4 and in a vacation/resort setting, even eating one meal in a lounge can save me at least ~$75/day, as long as we have the discipline to do so and we typically do by at least eating breakfast in the lounge and visiting again in the late afternoon. Adding snacks/drinks only increases the savings. So I would need to trade the cost of my anticipated lounge use against the daily charge.
Honestly, the offerings vary quite a bit property to property. In my experience, breakfast varies from just above continental to a fairly American Breakfast. Lunch is usually pretty complete. "Dinner" offerings have been sparse. I would not really expect lounge access to replace dinner.
Alcohol savings are especially helpful vs drinking in the RC bars!
