Using 24-Hour change option with a tight window
Currently, I'm on UA28 (EWR-LHR) on this Friday Evening, 7:35pm departure.

I was wondering what the best option is for me to use the 24 hour change option (pay the 75$) and try to get on UA114, 10:05pm departure flight leaving on Thursday.

Should I just go directly to EWR and see, or check-in at T-24h do it online and head out to the airport? Looking at the flight there is a decent amount of space on the flight including in my fare class.

Just wondering what works best for this, thanks.
