I am looking to book a 1-bedroom at this resort in October but SPG tells me that they will only book Garden-view rooms with points or cash + points transactions. Have any Gold members here been upgraded to a better room if you had previously booked a Garden-view room using points?

Also, if we are "stuck" in a Garden-view room are they pretty bad? I have not been to this property.

Anyone have any upgrade success stories here - for non-Platinum members?
