OK so how about LIM?

No one on this forum except me has taken the time to determine availability on domestic and international routes and posted those results on Flyertalk. Repeatedly. And each time, the "sky is falling" theory has been disproven. Real data trumps anecdote every time.

Maybe you should stop expecting to get award flights right before and after cruises. And accept the fact that the "award seats are released 330 days out" procedure has long since been abandoned.
I don't know or care which are AA's most heavily travelled routes. All I care about are the routes that I travel heavily. With that in mind, would you mind please disproving my not-yet-voiced-but-nonetheless-held "sky is falling" theory regarding the near complete disappearance of ORD-LIM Y availability? And BTW I'm not one of those assiduous 331 day aheaders. I can't commit anything like that far ahead.

For the redemption side of the Advantage program to be fair, I would contend that it really needs to provide a decent level of availability across pretty much ALL routes. If they actually do not have the intention to provide this coverage anymore they should at least have the decency to acknowledge it. You can't dismiss LIM as either a minor or a premium route. At present I'm starting to feel alienated.
