Given the OP is flying from the UK, then I'm guessing he has a NHS dentist - in some areas these are like gold dust and heavily oversubscribed.

You could also try NHS Direct, but they are only meant to be used if you are not currently registered http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/news/ban...dentalproblems

Other options - if you pay to go private, you'll find that your previously busy dentist will be able to take you very quickly. Might be worth enquiring how much it would cost (my last dentist would see me within 24 hours if private, 2 days if denplan and 2 weeks if NHS - he was a truly excellent dentist though).

And clove oil is very good at numbing dental pain.
