Yup, I felt like it was a little cheaper. Although you get the full kitchen and you can all stay together which is also nice. That was one of my complaints to the managers that yes I got upgraded but the amenities were well I don't wanna say cheaper but it won't be the same as the one you will find in the hotel side.
The amenities were definitely cheaper, the room descriptions talk of Bulgari toiletries yet the apartment we had came with fairly nasty generic toiletries. Not the end of the world but it was one of several small things which could easily be dealt with to make this property truly first rate.
