Those extra 25k miles net you 6 GPUs and 2 RPUs. If you feel those will be beneficial for the following yr's travel I'd definitely go for 1K. That being said, IME, 1K means nothing anymore other than those SWUs. Sure 1K has higher upgrade priority than Plat, but it doesn't mean much when our upgrade rates have taken a tumble
