What is the fare class to which you are rebooked if you standby for an earlier flight? Is it the originally booked fare class or Y/B? I have been rebooked to Y/B on a later flight, but never did standby to an earlier one.

Searched through the FAQs and on the AA.com but couldn't find the answer.
