Pre departure
Check in was in Abu Dhabi, made a mad rush from Dubai and when I got to the counter, all boarding passes were there.
Used the FRA senator lounge...very nice. But it got crowded mid morning.
There was priority boarding which i used.

Onboard - J cabin:
Older crowd, but a really good team head. J cabin was full, actually the whole plane was full.

Was the IFE activated on the ground? yes
Was a pre-departure beverage offered on the ground? yes
Did crew offer to hang your jacket? n/a
Were newspapers & menus distributed and meal orders taken newspapers and menus were distributed. Not sure about order of meal service as we were in the smaller cabin and it happened from front to back.
Did crew offer a hot towel prior to the meal service? Yes
Approximately how long after take off did it take for the first meal service to be completed? (1 hour
How was the quality of all the meals? Fair
Did the cabin crew continiously top up the beverage of your choice throughout the flight? Yes, they had new wines ...much better than usual.

Overall experience/any other comments: an experienced cabin crew made the flight quite pleasant. The customer service director was top notch. Still not crazy about the pod seat though.
