I hope this is the right forum for this post. I'm headed to Belize from Toronto in July with some friends. My hope was to fly on AC, both to accumulate miles and to share my MLL passes with my friends on the outgoing flight, whether in YYZ or during a layover.
From some cursory searching, it looks like flying US Air is a fair bit cheaper than AC (screenshot here:
http://i.imgur.com/hdWc7.png). I'm wondering if it's possible to book my flight through AC but get on US metal for the whole trip (and pay the corresponding price). The AC site isn't allowing me to look up YYZ->BZE itineraries, but suggests that AC can still set them up.
Would this still allow usage of the MLL? Anything I'm missing?
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
