Here's the instructions for unlocking from T-Mobile:


1. Place a non-T Mobile SIM card into the handset and turn the handset on.
2. The handset display should read "Enter Special Code"
3. Enter the unlock code and press "OK".

My question is: can I use my daughter's non-T-Mobile sim card to unlock the phone & then put my T-Mobile sim card back in? Then when we get to Ireland I'll buy a sim card and slap it in.
