Some of them are tatty and thread bare in places inside. Also the interior fitting has 'yellowed' quite a bit.
That said, I've seen members of the Airbus fleet looking quite aged inside.
I do agree that they could do with some new light tubes going in, though they do seem in recent times to have inherited the 757 seats, with the adjustable head rests etc. They used to just have Ryanair-esque seats.
