Sorry to dredge up this 2 week old thread but I'm faced with this now:

Have 2 E-Certs that I'm about to book for myself (Plat) and companion (GM)...obviously have to be booked separate and t&c state only one passenger per itinerary.

Has anyone had any experience post-merger calling up and having the premier desk re-seat the companion next to them in e+ gratis even though they're on their own itinerary, and if so does it stick (ie not get swept out at some point)?
