Does anyone have experience with getting AA to match a fare offered by one of their codeshare partners? I was looking to book my standard ORD-PEK route (AA187/186; $2448) and came across a HU codeshare for $864 less ($1584). I prefer to fly on an AA ticket so I can use SWU's and earn EQM's, so I called Reservations and inquired. They said that they could check with Tariffs and let me know in a week or so if they could match the fare. Has anyone ever done this successfully? Thanks!
