Continental Breakfast at an outside restaurant (Sunset Grill)

or

$8 credit at the hotel's restaurant (where the Continental is $14.50)

I'm not too pleased with this. We didn't want to walk over 10 mins each way with our newborn to Sunset Grill. Can the hotel just randomly provide the benefit at an outside establishment?
