Diamond status perks (even during the challenge period) apply to all stays without exception - even award, third party booked (even Priceline / Hotwire) stays. Only exception is the confirmed Diamond Suite Upgrades - these only apply on revenue stays that are eligible (mostly booked directly with Hyatt).
