Fwiw, the purchased EQMs' price is counted along with tickets as far as purchases from the airline for double miles consideration using a UA credit card, at least with the Presidential Plus card. Not that a dollar per RDM is a great cash price, nor is a dollar per two RDMs, but at least there is that little bonus that comes with the miles you directly buy. Not enough to sway a decision to buy or not buy, I'm sure.
