For a night flight I would really not worry about the whole 777 vs. 747 debate as you will be sleeping most of the time.

If anything, the 777 might even be better than the 747 on the grounds that it will not be a scorching hot upper deck, which many have complained about on this board.

Just take the latest flight so you get better sleep on board.
