Interesting tip re the Vanish. The powder version I'm using says not to use water hoter than 40c.

Had never heard of Rimowa until seeing it in a store in Rio early this week. Had to do a double take as I thought it said rim-o-way when I first glanced at it! Then again I don't spend too much time looking at lugguage! I've landed in tropical rainstorms in Australia and the bag (manually unloaded) came out dryer than what it did this trip.

HIDDY, the bag was moderately priced. Not one of the luxury cases that cost more than my ticket, but not one I picked up down the street market either! I think I bought this one in the US after a fly/drive holiday when I discoverd I'd bought more than I could fit in my original suitcase! However I'm tempted to do the bin liner trick next time!
