I think we can all relate stories of FSDO
, and what happened to Bob Hoover 20 years ago resulted in a Senate bill that gives certificate holders the right to immediately appeal an emergency revocation to the NTSB.
On the other hand, I've also had positive interactions with FSDOs, and for some time now have stated that the TSA should be moved to the DOT with FAA oversight.
