Another update on my HHonors search troubles:
To particlemn, I am only entering 2 adults.
I followed kmandrew's example, and at the Hilton site, without logging in, searched London for Nov. 4-8. This time, I did get reward results of 40-50k per night for nearly every hotel. So clearly the redemptions are there to be had.
Now it turns worse. I then enter my HH# and password at the top to log in, thinking I'd be able to access these results. But the login bounces me back to my account homepage, where I have to search again. I enter the same search criteria, and this time like in the past, my London results show me zero HHonors redemption options on the hotels.
So now, a question for readers: Should I save my new Hilton Amex card info onto my Hhonors account? Will that help my award searching somehow, to have that Axon-enabled card in my profile?
If this problem doesn't resolve itself, I guess I'd just have to call customer service each time I want to make an award reservation. I sure hope they don't try and charge a phone service fee (again, new to HH).
