Some small and some HUGE............But to pretend AA is the next SQ and UA, the next Pakistan Intl is a little disingenuous We all have our own opinions, let's respect every one of them
1) Yes. Big fan of AA.

2) I was a PMCO customer that used to fly 100% on CO in 2007, 2008 and first half of 2009. In July of 2009, I made the decision to make AA my primary carrier and CO my secondary carrier. Since then I have been Plat on CO and now on UA, so I have had plenty of interaction with CO and UA and I have not liked any of what's been going on. The idea that PMCO customers see no issues is a myth.

3) I never pretended AA is SQ or UA is PIA. I never used those comparisons nor did I intimate them. But the TODs will affect every elite on UA other than those who are booking directly into F every time. If you ever book even into full Y, B or M, I guarantee that sooner or later your number comes up.

As a sidenote, I just flew SQ in Dec11 and Jan12 and it was amazing how comfortable Y class was on SQ. Something all US carriers should aspire to, but will never achieve.
