Angry I really wish Starwood would take this issue seriously

I do not understand how a company is in the hotel business, catering to business travelers, and can possibly ignore this issue. It is consistently one of my biggest pet peeves.

Just last week I was in two very, very recently renovated Sheraton guest rooms. In both cases there was no power option at the bedside. I had to choose whether I was going unplug the lamp or the clock if I wanted to plug in my phone.

How do you do a total renovation of guest rooms in 2012 and not accommodate the need to plug in electronic devices at the desk and bedside? It's simply inexcusable.
