Yes, but the timing is not that quick.
1) Yes - This happened 3 months ago.
2) Yes - This happened this morning. I received an email from AA saying my reservation changed. They cancelled the CX846 flight and rebooked me in J to CX888.
I called AA and they are putting in a request to CX for me. Really hoping they clear me on the 4:10pm CX840 flight.
