Will it be an issue if I pay the taxes and charges with this card, and will they ask to see the Lloyds TSB card at the airport? The Lloyds TSB card will be cancelled in a few months, but I have no plans to cancel the BA Amex that gave me the 2-4-1 so presenting that if asked won't be an issue.

EDIT:

I notice that the terms and conditions state...

Does this get enforced in practice? 12.5 Avios per £1 rather than 3 Avios would be rather nice!

Oops, I paid my TFC's on a recent redemption with a Lloyds Avios Amex.
I thought it just had to be an Amex, it didn't mention this on the payments page!

I got an e-ticket receipt with ticket number on it.

I might give BAEC a call to let them know and get some assurance this will be OK, if not, I'll just pay again on my BAPP and stuff the 1275 points

Plenty of time to fix it, the flight isn't until 2013

Update: Got someone on the phone now checking it
