We earned a 2-4-1 using my husbands BA Amex cc, when I came to book the flights to HK I tried using my husbands BA Amex cc which is linked to mine (different to the one we had earned the 2-4-1 on), the booking would not accept the card so had to pay the taxes etc with the original card! Hope that makes sense!
