PDX-SEA passengers can use the elite lane but my experience (which is weekly) is the elite line doesn't save a lot of time depending on the time of day.
I have only flown once from PDX-SEA without connecting and never again. Just easier to drive.
Or take Amtrak. For $35, it's a nice, pleasant ride downtown-to-downtown.
ETA: Whoops, beaten to the punch. I had this post composed and ready to go 13 hours ago but have flown 4,940 miles (no wifi) since then and haven't had a chance to get online and click "submit."
